Monday with the Ballengers

Lunch at Kobya's in Southlake was a riot! We took up two whole grills, and it was enough food to satisfy the hungry hord.

The Ballengers attending church with us.

They added a nice number to our group. The kids enjoyed the bounce house that we provide for the kids to burn off the doughnuts they just consumed.

This picture is actually on Monday, but I can't seem to be able to move it into the next blog post. Whatever! We took them to Kobeya.

The Ballengers visit!!

The Ballengers came for 4 days and experienced warm weather, excited cousins, four-wheeler rides, and football. I hope they aren't experiencing permanent spine damage. ;-)

Jack was the primary driver, and he tried to hit all the bumps in the pasture.
Uncle John playing football with Eric, Jack, Matthew and Drew.

Going for the score
Eric decided to take his brothers for a ride.
This is not as dangerous as it looks. ;-)

Drew had made some very cool bookshelves for two bedrooms. He found the design on-line and made them bigger and better. They are as heavy as lead!
He made this pulpit for church.
His homemade workbench and the table saw he bought for a song.
Abby is eating an orange...all at once!
...and the bath afterwards. ;-)
Last week, we played Scrabble and included Daddy and Mother. Mid game, Chrissie called and Daddy tried to concentrate on the phone call in the middle of some loud competitors. He plunked down "ok" and virtually challenged the rest of us to tell him it wasn't useable. But his age and experience trump ALL of us, so we just let "ok" stand. ;-)
Mother, Daddy (on phone), Josh, Jack, and Bethany Boothe (Clay's cousin)
Yup, there's the phone. If you look closely, you can see the "ok" on the very bottom of the board. ;-) On the left of the picture, Jack is on my iPhone checking to see if Grandpa's "word" is possibly correct. ;-)
Clay, two staff guys, and Daddy discussing the next week's sermon.

Just a funny video of Josh at our old house. He was trying out Drew's skates.

Just for the laughs. Keep watching...the startled look on Abby's face is funny.
