Winter Camp!

For the first three days of Christmas break, we let the 4 oldest boys go to camp. It was just short enough that their mother didn't go crazy without them. If you notice, only 3 Reeds are in this picture. That is because Matthew got violently ill and opted out of the photo. The other boy's name is Walker. He goes to our church, and he and Matthew were in the same cabin.
Jack and Josh were in the same cabin. This is their counsellor, who was giant...almost. His nick name was "Towerly Intimberdating." He was a really sweet guy, and my boys loved having him as their counsellor.
This is Matthew and Walker's counsellor. His nick name was "Gribbit." Super guy as well!
This is Eric's counsellor...."Tastes like Chicken" was his nick name. (Real name was Daniel)
Eric thinks this guy is off the charts.
Camper Jack

Thanksgiving!

Clay took Eric by himself to hunt. This is Dad's deer, and Eric shot a smaller buck.
And...it was time to break out the Christmas hats!

This is a toy I bought from an Amish furniture shop here. It is called a tulip tree. You start marbles at the top, and as the marble rolls down each level, the sound gets louder and deeper. After 2 weeks, I have since re-gifted it to another deserving family. ;-) The experience was like some lovely folks we all have had cross our paths, better at a distance and in small doses. ;-)

Kidz Fest

In November of this year, we had Kidz Fest for our neighbors to visit our church and for our church family to have a nice afternoon.
Abby asked to have her face painted as camoflage. ;-)
If you don't like your snacks, lure the dog over.....
...and let her lick off all the bits.
This was a ride that was a big favorite...the boogie woogie train....it's pulled behind a 4-wheeler.
Tyler asked for his face to be painted like the Incredibles.
